Mr. Gary Kirsten, ICC World Cup Winning Coach (2011) for India, says that Cricket is more than just a sport in India. Indians have started recognizing Cricket as more of an education and career option than just a sport or a part time leisure activity. We believe that every teenage Indian has the potential to become a professional cricketer, it is just a matter of time and the way the youngsters get nurtured by the opportunities and exposure they get. But just watching Cricket on screen and imitating the actions on the grounds aren’t enough to suffice the utter hunger of a real Cricket Fan. The burning desire inside them can be satisfied only when they get to gear up and wield the willow on the ground.
As Gary Sir says – “There is no Plan B for Passion”, and hence the Gary Kirsten Cricket India (GKCI), a premium cricket coaching academy has come up with an innovative idea to enjoy and learn the sport. GKCI is providing a unique platform to showcase your talent. GKCI is proud to announce ‘1st Inter-Society Amateur Cricket League’, a 4 Day tournament at our campus, on 30th Jan, 31st Jan, 6th Feb & 7th Feb. The age limit for this tournament will be 10 – 14 years. Team will be 10-a side mixed team. All children (10 -14 years of age) Male and Female are welcome to participate. The format will be league format followed by a knockout. The tournament is open for all of the societies in Pune.

Entry fees
Per team is Rs 1,000 only.
We have limited entries and registrations shall be strictly on First Come First Serve basis.

GKCI will offer each player a 5-day free training with our experienced professional coaches at our academy for absolutely no cost. Moreover, all the players of the winning team will get a FREE One Month Training Program at GKCI. WOAHH!! Trophies will be awarded to the Champion team, Runner up team, Man of the Match (Final), Man of the Tournament, Best Batsman and Best Bowler. Our team of best coaches will train and teach you cricket ‘The Gary’s Way’.
